Just realized my $40 foam mattress topper beats actual acoustic panels for my garage theater
I built DIY panels with rockwool and burlap first, then tried a $40 egg crate topper on the back wall just to see. The topper killed the slap echo in my 2 car garage way better than the panels did, and I spent $130 less. Anyone else get better results from cheap foam than the real stuff?
