Vent: paid DLC boss still hits through walls, my cheap fix actually worked
The endgame dragon in our co-op session kept landing tail swipes through solid rock, wiped our group 4 times in one night. I finally tried standing inside the pillar hitbox after a buddy in chat joked about it, and the attacks just whiffed completely. Has anyone else found janky cover like that, or do we just uninstall the expansion?

That pillar trick is solid, found the same thing with the tree roots on the west side of the arena. The boss's hitboxes are just lazy, they use the same sweep animation for open ground and walls. Better move is to bait the tail swipe near the broken columns, the geometry there eats the attack too. Kept my whole squad alive after we stopped trying to dodge and just hugged the rocks. Game's not worth uninstalling over this, just means you gotta fight dirty like the devs did.
