I thought quick saving in games was cheating, then a buddy in Tampa showed me his 400 hour save file
Back in 2005 I refused to use quick save in anything, I felt like it made the whole game soft and fake. Last month my friend Ray in Tampa pulled up his save from a game he had been playing for 400 hours and told me he had reloaded the same boss fight 60 times just to see every ending. I still think saving mid boss is a bit much, but dying to the same cheap hitbox over and over is not skill, it is just wasting my Tuesday nights. Now I use it on anything with bad checkpoints, mostly old platformers where one missed jump sends you back 10 minutes. Does anyone else draw the line somewhere specific, like only for glitches and not real deaths?
