Watched a guy lay 900 bricks in one shift at a site in Tulsa using a $12 mortar scoop he made from a bleach bottle
He cut the bottom off, taped the handle, and was loading his hawk faster than anyone on site, so I made one that night and have not bought a scoop since, has anyone else rigged up a homemade tool that actually beat the store version?
