Swapped mortar mix on a backyard wall in Reno and the color changed in 3 days
Had a homeowner in Reno ask why her garden wall looked pink next to the house and gray by the gate, and I couldn't answer her. Turned out the guy before me used two different batches of mortar, one with way more lime, and it kept drying lighter for almost 3 days after each rain. I tore out 14 feet of it and ran one consistent mix, and now the whole wall finally matches. Any of you ever get called back over a color shift that was really just a mix problem?
