I finally hit 10,000 bricks laid on my own this week and it messed with my head a little

I've been laying brick for about 6 years now, mostly as a side gig. I counted up my jobs last night and realized I just passed 10,000 bricks on a retaining wall project in Salem. Never thought I'd keep track that long, but seeing that number made me feel like I finally know what I'm doing. Has anyone else hit a weird milestone that caught them off guard?

Isn't it funny how these big numbers sneak up on you in the middle of something ordinary? I feel like that happens with all kinds of stuff, not just work.
