Found a cheap trick to keep mortar from skinning over on hot days
Been fighting the sun all July here in Phoenix, mortar was drying out before I even got the trowel back to the wall. Tossed a damp burlap sack over the pile between loads and it stayed workable for the whole afternoon, saving me at least 2 remixes. Anybody else got low budget shade tricks that beat the heat?
