Dropped $140 on a laser level for a curved garden wall and it turned into a comedy show
I was building a curved garden wall outside Nashville last month and decided to finally buy a laser level. $140 for a green beam one with a tripod. Set it up on the lawn, got the base course laid, and then my neighbor's dog came flying through and took the whole thing out. Tripod, level, all of it in the mud. I spent 30 minutes wiping dirt off the lens while the dog just sat there looking proud. Ended up using a string line like my old foreman always told me to. Saved the day but cost me a chunk of my morning and my pride. Has anyone else had a tool get wrecked by a pet on the job?
