Bought a $39 brick tongs and my back stopped screaming after 3 houses
I used to carry every brick by hand, 5 at a time like an idiot. Last month I grabbed a pair of brick tongs for $39 at the supply yard in Toledo and hauled 12 at once without wrecking my lower back. My foreman laughed at me for a week, but after 3 houses he asked where I got them. Best money I've dropped on gear this year, no question. Anyone else got a cheap item that turned into a game changer on the wall?

You really think a magnet is gonna beat gravity when you fumble a handful of screws off a ladder? I've watched guys with those bands still drop bits in the grass and spend ten minutes on their knees with a flashlight. The real trick is just keeping your screws in a cup or your pouch pocket close by, no gimmick needed. Twelve bucks buys you a coffee and a sandwich, and neither one makes you look like you're wearing a fitness tracker on the job.
