Hit 100 loaves baked and my kitchen scale finally gave up on me

I was just trying to weigh out my flour for loaf number 100 and the scale started blinking "Err" and then just died, right in the middle of measuring. Has anyone else had a kitchen tool quit on them at a weird milestone like that?

Did you try swapping out the batteries first @casey_torres60? My scale totally froze on me once and it was just a dead battery, not the scale quitting for good. If its truly gone though, I just use my measuring cups now because I got tired of replacing scales every few months.

Man, that scale knew exactly what it was doing. It was like it wanted to quit on the big 1-0-0 just to be dramatic about it. Reminds me of my old blender that finally gave out right after I made my 50th smoothie, like it had some kind of internal counter and decided that was enough chaos for a lifetime. Hope you at least had another bag of flour ready to go or a backup measuring cup, because nothing kills a baking mood like having to eyeball your ingredients. At least you got a good story out of it instead of it just dying on loaf number 47.
