My grow light timer broke right before my pepper seedlings got leggy

The cheap plug from the hardware store just stopped working after 3 weeks, so I had to manually turn the lights on and off for a few days. Anyone have a reliable timer brand they've used for over a year?

I've been using the same Intermatic heavy duty timer for my indoor setup for almost four years now. Those cheap plastic ones from the big box stores are basically designed to fail. You want something with a physical dial and metal pins you push down, not a digital screen. The initial cost is higher but it pays off because you won't be replacing it every season when humidity gets to it.

Designed to fail" is right. I had a digital one that just stopped reading button presses after one humid summer.
