Just realized how much a greenhouse in Phoenix shifts your whole watering game
Went down to visit a friend's setup near Buckeye last week and their misting timer going off at 6am made me see why my succulents kept rotting, so now I'm copying their dry-cycle method and checking if anyone else has adjusted to desert humidity levels.

Did your friend run that mist cycle on a wet bulb sensor or just a plain timer?

Honestly I've noticed that with almost everything in my house. I tried to "upgrade" my garden watering to one of those smart timers and it just watered on a schedule no matter what. Drove me nuts when it would rain for three days straight and everything got waterlogged. Ended up ripping it out and going back to checking the soil by hand. People overcomplicate stuff that really just needs a bit of observation and common sense. Kinda like how everyone's jumping on AI to write emails when a quick phone call still works better half the time.
