Tried PVA vs. wheat paste on my last restoration job. No contest.
The PVA gave me way cleaner spine repairs and didn't wrinkle the paper like the wheat paste did. Has anyone else found PVA just works better for modern book repairs?

Isn't that just how modern materials always beat the old tried-and-true stuff?

Modern materials always beat the old" maybe for some, but wheat paste still wins for leather.
