Showerthought: That guy at the craft fair who told me I was 'binding wrong'
I was at a local fair in Portland last fall, showing my coptic stitch journals, and this older binder walks up and says my spine wasn't tight enough. He spent 10 minutes explaining why I should sew through the fold, not around it. Now I'm curious, has anyone else had a random stranger try to correct their technique?

Oh great, so now there's a craft fair binder police I didn't know about.

Ugh, seriously. I feel you on this one. It's like everyone's got a rule book they keep hidden until you do something wrong. Binder police is the perfect name for them too. I've been burned by those types at fairs before. They act like they're protecting some sacred craft code. Drives me nuts how smug they get about it.
