Shoutout to the cheap bone folder I grabbed at a craft fair in Asheville
Used it on a marbled paper project and it gave me a cleaner, sharper crease than my expensive brass one ever has. Anyone else find a weird tool that just works better for a specific material?

Oh man, totally. My go-to for scoring book board is a plastic clay scraper from a dollar store. The rounded corner is perfect, and it doesn't leave a mark like my proper bone folder does. Weird how that works.

Right? The fancy tool made for the job is the one that messes it up. Classic. My expensive scoring board leaves a shiny dent every time, but an old gift card works perfectly. It's like the universe's rule for crafts: the more you pay, the worse it works. Should just buy all our supplies at the dollar store and call it a day.
