My first leather binding cracked after 3 months
Used a cheap acrylic coating to finish the leather and it cracked right along the spine hinge. Anyone else had that happen with acrylics vs going back to wax?

Acrylics are fine if you prep the leather right.

Three years of testing acrylics on scrap leather showed me most of them still crack over time, @oliviapatel. Have you had any pieces hold up past a year without issues?
