Hit 200 hand-sewn books last week and I still can't believe it

I started binding as a hobby about three years ago, mostly doing simple coptic stitch notebooks. Last week I was cleaning up my workshop and I noticed I had stacked up 200 finished books in my storage bin. I never thought I would hit that many, each one taught me something new about glue or thread tension. Has anyone else lost count of their projects until you randomly add them up?

I accidentally threw a half bound book in the trash once thinking it was scrap.

200 books is legit. Coptic stitch is a solid starting point, that's where I started too. Thread tension was the biggest headache for me early on. Good on you for sticking with it.
