Vent: Our club just spent 45 minutes arguing if the main character in 'Klara and the Sun' was actually sentient.

The whole point is that the book makes you question that line, not pick a definitive side. Anyone else's group get stuck on needing a 'right' answer instead of just talking about the ideas?

Was your group trying to solve the book like a math problem? @blair_williams69 is right, that sounds painful. The whole beauty is living in the question, not finding some answer key. It's like arguing if the fridge light really goes off. You're supposed to feel weird about it, not vote.
