Shoutout to the librarian who changed how I see fiction
At the downtown branch last week, Miss Pat said 'a good story is a lie that tells the truth' and it hit me hard. She was talking about how even fantasy books can teach us real stuff about people and life. Does anyone else find themselves picking apart what a story is really saying now?

Totally agree. Fantasy hits different when you see the real truths hiding in it.
