Our club spent a full month arguing over the ending of 'Klara and the Sun'
Most members thought it was hopeful, but I found it deeply sad and isolating. We had to schedule an extra meeting just to hash it out, and I still don't think we convinced each other. Has your group ever gotten that stuck on a book's tone?

What made you see it as sad? I read the ending as Klara finding peace in her own way... she did what she was meant to do and seems content with her memories. That feels more quiet than sad to me. Our group got stuck like that over a different book last year, and we never did agree either. Sometimes a book just hits people in totally opposite ways.
