Our club spent 40 minutes arguing about the ending of Gone Girl and nobody noticed the dog died in chapter 4
We meet at my place in Boise every other Tuesday. Last meeting we did Gone Girl and the talk got loud fast about whether Amy was a villain or a victim. I pulled out the book and read the line about the dog, and the room went dead quiet for about 10 seconds. Turns out three people missed it completely.
