Our book club almost split over one chapter of Pachinko last Tuesday
Nine of us showed up to Diane's place in Cleveland and six wanted to ditch the book halfway through because the middle section dragged so bad. We ended up arguing for 40 minutes about whether a slow book is still worth finishing, and honestly it was the best meeting we've had in two years. Does your club push through slow books or just cut bait?
