My buddy Ben called me out for always picking books set in New York and it made me rethink my whole reading list

He said 'you're missing half the world by sticking to one city' and honestly that hit because 8 of my last 10 book club picks were Manhattan-based. Has anyone else gotten stuck in a genre or setting rut without noticing?

Missing half the world by sticking to one city" really hit me too. I always thought I was being adventurous with my reading until I checked and realized all my favorite authors just write different versions of the same place.
