My book club told me my chapter summaries were too long
Someone said I wrote a whole page for a chapter that only took 15 minutes to read. Now I keep it to 3 bullet points max. Has your group ever made you rewrite how you take notes?

Oh, come on. A whole page for a 15 minute read? That's not a summary, that's a recap for people who didn't show up. I bet the group was just trying to politely say they don't need the full director's cut of every chapter. Three bullet points sounds reasonable, honestly.

Three bullet points is basically my dream summary - I can barely remember what I read five minutes after finishing a chapter, never mind a full page recap. Have you ever written a book report that accidentally turned into an entire sequel?
