My book club spent 40 minutes fighting over whether we can skip chapters and it split the room in half
Last Tuesday at our meetup in Fresno, a woman named Dana mentioned she reads the last page of every book first and our whole group lost it. Half of us think skipping ahead or reading out of order ruins the shared experience the club is built on, while the other half say finishing the book is the only rule that matters and how you get there is your own business. So which side are you on: does how you read a book actually matter to the group, or is that just people policing a hobby?
