Changed my mind on banning the person who hates every book we pick
At our Tuesday meetup in the back room of the bar, Dana said she was quitting because Marcus shoots down every pick before we finish the first chapter, and I was ready to just ask him to leave the group. Instead she asked me one question: what does he actually recommend when he says no? Turns out he brought in three titles nobody had heard of and two of them ended up in our top five, so now I ask him to pitch first, has anyone else tried giving the negative person the first word instead of the boot?
