Spent $200 on a fancy welding hood and now I'm wondering if I should've just stuck with the cheap one

The auto-darkening lens on this Miller hood works great for overhead work, but I swear the cheap fixed-shade one I had before never gave me that weird headache after a full day of stick welding. Has anyone else dropped serious cash on gear and ended up missing the old setup?

Isn't it funny how sometimes the fancy upgrades just mess with the flow you had? Seems like every time I try to level up a tool or a routine, I end up missing the old clunky thing that just worked.

You ever try turning down the sensitivity on that auto-darkening lens?
