Hit 500 boilers repaired in 9 years, is that a decent pace or just slow?
Tbh I crossed 500 weld repairs on feedwater heaters last month over at the Kansas City plant, and it got me thinking about what that number really says. Some guys brag about 30 repairs a year, others say quality beats quantity, so I'm torn on whether hitting that milestone means I'm solid or just been around forever. Ngl, I track every job in a notebook, and 500 felt huge to me, but my foreman said he's done 800 by his 8th year. Has anyone else counted their total repairs, and what number made you stop and question if you're on the right path?
