Heard a helper say tube rolling is just muscle, not much to learn, and I had to bite my tongue

I was at the shop in Gary last Tuesday and a first year helper said that rolling tubes was just arm strength and anybody could pick it up in a shift. He was rolling a 2 inch exchanger bundle with a torque gun and had no clue why half his joints were leaking on the hydro. How do you all explain the feel for expansion to the new guys without sounding like you are gatekeeping?
