Foreman skipped the pre-job safety walk last Tuesday, almost cost us a hand

We were setting up a 40-foot vessel repair at the Dow plant in Freeport. The foreman decided we didn't need to do the full walkaround since we did the same job last month. Second guy up on the scaffold steps right onto a rotten plank hidden under some dropped bolts. He caught himself on the handrail but it was way too close. How many of you actually fight to keep those walkdowns from getting skipped when the schedule is tight?
