Can we talk about how hand-drilling templates have changed?

Back in 2000 I was still using paper templates and a center punch to mark tube sheets, took me a whole shift to lay out a single bundle. Now guys just use a magnetic template with guide holes and a battery drill, and they knock out three bundles in half the time. Is anyone else mixing old layout methods with new tools, or am I just slow to upgrade?

Man I hear you, I still use a good old paper template sometimes when the magnetic ones won't fit right.

Funny you say that, I used to think paper templates were super outdated. But honestly, this totally changed my mind when I tried one that actually fit better than the magnetic version. Sometimes the old ways just work.
