Blew $310 on a used tube roller at a farm auction in Peoria and it paid for itself on the first tank job
Picked up a used hand-crank tube roller at a farm auction outside Peoria back in April for $310, mostly as a gamble since I had no way to test it under load. First real job after that was rolling tubes for a small stainless tank, and it saved me a full day of fighting with the old setup. The gearbox was a little stiff so I dumped some fresh oil in it and it's been smooth since. Curious what the rest of you look for at auctions to avoid getting burned on used gear.
