Appreciation post: That boiler room in St. Louis had the cleanest header welds I've seen in 10 years

I was out in St. Louis last month helping a buddy with a shutdown at a power plant. Walked into this old boiler room and saw a set of header welds that were just.. perfect. No spatter, no undercut, just smooth beads like someone took their time on every single one. Made me realize I need to slow down on my own jobs instead of rushing through. Anyone else ever see work so good it made you rethink your own approach?

Man that one weld I saw in a basement in Gary still haunts me.
