Rulebook proofreading took me 3 evenings, who else got stuck on wording?
I spent 2 hours one evening trying to figure out if 'adjacent' meant sharing a side or also diagonal in a new worker placement game. The example diagram showed diagonal, but the glossary said corner-to-corner wasn't adjacent. Then the FAQ online contradicted both, and I found a forum post from 2019 where the designer admitted it was a typo that never got fixed. I finally emailed the publisher and got an answer after 2 days, but only because someone on Reddit had the original playtest notes. Has anyone else hit a rulebook where the official answer took longer to find than the actual game takes to play?
