My cousin's kid just called board games 'boring' and it got me thinking
We were at a family thing last weekend and I was telling him about the new game I got. He's 12 and just said, "That sounds boring, I'd rather play my game." It wasn't even mean, just a total disconnect. It hit different because it made me realize our hobby can look super weird from the outside. How do you explain the fun of a 3-hour strategy game to someone who thinks fun is instant? Anyone else have a moment like that?
