Just realized I've been teaching new players the rules for Catan wrong for about two years.
I was at a game night in Austin and saw a guy win by building two roads in a single turn, which I always thought was against the rules. He showed me the actual rulebook, and it turns out I'd been mixing up a house rule from my old college group with the official game. How many of you have accidentally taught a game wrong because of a bad habit you picked up somewhere?
