I finally built my own game storage unit from scrap wood
Lots of folks insist on buying expensive specialty furniture, but a DIY solution has held up perfectly for me. Have you ever tried making your own storage?

You actually used scrap wood for that? I've tried using old pallets before and they always split or warp. How did you get it to hold all those heavy board games? My store-bought shelf BOWED under the weight of my Arkham Horror collection. Scrap wood seems too risky for something that needs to be STURDY.

Did your pallets split during building or after weight was added? My buddy salvaged some solid oak from a torn-down barn and built shelves that held his entire Warhammer collection without bending. Turns out the TYPE of scrap wood matters way more than where it came from.
