Dropped $80 on that fancy insert for Terraforming Mars and it still doesn't fit right

I spent 80 bucks on a wooden organizer that promised to hold everything sleeved, but the player boards barely slide in without bending cards. Anybody else have a Kickstarter insert that just made your box heavier?

Dude that sucks. I had the exact same thing happen with the Scythe Broken Token insert a couple years back. Paid a fortune for it, spent an hour assembling it, and then my upgraded coins barely had room to breathe. It's so frustrating when these organizers make the box heavier and somehow less functional. Sometimes you're better off with a couple of cheap plano boxes and calling it a day.

Drove myself crazy last week trying to fit all the pieces for the Dune Imperium insert back in the box after a game night. Spent like 20 minutes just jamming stuff in there and my girlfriend walks by and goes "you know that thing is supposed to help, right?" Felt like a real idiot standing there sweating over a plastic tray. But honestly she's not wrong, sometimes the simplest solution is the best one. I've got a couple of those cheap tackle boxes from Walmart holding all my token bits for GWT and it works way better than any expensive organizer I've tried. Your Scythe story just confirms I'm not alone in this endless cycle of buying fancy stuff and then hating myself for it.
