Chose a 4 player co-op over a competitive game for game night. Best call I made all year.

I have to disagree with "best call I made all year." I get that 4 player co-op can be fun, but competitive games bring out a different kind of energy that co-op just doesn't have. When everyone is working together, you're all patting each other on the back. But with a good competitive game, you get that friendly trash talk, the tension of a close round, and the real thrill of winning. Co-op feels safe and cooperative, but competitive games make the night memorable because people actually have stakes in the outcome. I think you're missing out on a lot of laughs and good natured arguments by avoiding that edge.

Stakes just means someone loses and gets sore, then you're stuck managing egos instead of just playing.
