The county fair in Des Moines showed me a better way to label coolers
I was walking through the fairgrounds last month and noticed every food vendor had their coolers taped with bright colored duct tape strips on the lids. When I asked one guy about it, he said it saves them from opening ten coolers to find the soda. Has anyone else tried color coding their drink and food coolers at a block party to cut down on digging through ice?

Totally get that pain, color coding everything is honestly the smartest way to avoid cold arm searches.

...and honestly @jesse_craig22 that works until you have like 47 cables that are all some shade of blue. Last week I spent ten minutes unplugging my router because my phone charger cord was the same color as the ethernet cable. My arm was numb before I found the right one. Now I just label everything with masking tape and a sharpie, but the tape falls off when it gets warm. So I've got little strips of tape stuck to the back of my desk that mean absolutely nothing at this point.
