The cheap pop-up canopy survived a surprise storm, total believer now
I always thought those $80 pop-up canopies were a gimmick until ours held up in a sudden downpour last month on Oak Street. We had the thing staked down with those spiral anchors and sandbags on each leg, which was key. The rain came sideways for 20 minutes during the potluck, and not a single table of food next to it got wet. Anyone else had good luck with a budget canopy instead of the fancy rental tents?
