The 78 year old guy on Oak Street taught me more about block parties in 5 minutes than 3 years of planning
Last July he watched me tape off the fire hydrant for our cul-de-sac party in Boise and walked over to say we should put the bounce house on the far end because it blocks the shade tent at 4pm. Has anyone else gotten simple advice like that from a neighbor who's been doing this way longer?
