Rented tables vs asking neighbors to bring folding chairs, no contest

Last year we had everyone haul their own chairs and it was chaos. Mrs. Delgado brought 4 that were all different heights, the Johnson kids grabbed the good ones first, and by dinner time half the block was standing around eating off their laps. This year I pitched in $60 with a few neighbors and we rented 15 folding chairs and 3 long tables from a party place in Trenton. Setup took 20 minutes, everything matched, no one fought over seating. People actually sat and talked instead of hovering. Total game changer. Am I crazy for thinking group chair rental should be the default for any block party over 30 people?
