Told myself I'd just check the score for 5 minutes during the Chiefs game and lost 2 hours, so now my phone lives in a bread box on game days
Put the phone in the bread box at kickoff, and when I went to grab a slice at halftime I found 47 texts I never heard come in, which honestly proved the point better than any app timer ever did.

Bread box is genius, way better than any app that just gets deleted when the game gets close. Mine goes in a drawer across the room and I still catch myself eyeing it during timeouts. The texts piling up is the real proof, since nobody texts you that much on a normal Tuesday.
