Still not sold on those app blockers everyone raves about

I see everyone here talking about Freedom and Cold Turkey like they're the only way to get stuff done. I tried Freedom for 2 weeks and it just made me find more creative ways to waste time on my laptop. Am I missing something or do these tools just not work for people who are stubborn enough to ignore them?

Ugh, I feel you so hard on this. I did the same thing with Freedom - ended up just reading the help forums or finding weird browser extensions to play with instead of actually working. It's like your brain becomes a little hacker when you try to block stuff. Super frustrating when everyone says it's the magic fix.
