Put my phone in the freezer for an hour to focus on meal prep and almost forgot about it until my sister called asking why my location was showing inside the fridge
I was in my apartment kitchen with chicken thawing on the counter and figured locking the phone away would help me finish chopping veggies without scrolling Instagram, but then I got distracted by the prep itself and when my sister called she was like 'why does Find My say you're in the appliance section' and now I'm wondering if anyone else has a weird hiding spot that works a little too well.

The "condensation will ruin the battery" warning is a classic overthinker move. Like yeah, I'm sure my phone survived a full hour in a freezer just fine, but heaven forbid I learned that lesson the hard way. Honestly, I'd rather deal with a slightly damp phone than have my sister think I live inside a refrigerator. At least now I know my location history will make for a confusing conversation if I ever get pulled over. "Why was your phone in the freezer, ma'am?" Putting your phone in the freezer is a bad idea because condensation will ruin the battery.
