Paid $15 for a focus app that just made me more distracted

Last month I bought FocusLock Pro thinking it would finally keep me off Reddit during work hours. Instead the app kept crashing and I ended up on Twitter complaining about it. Tried to get a refund through the app store but their policy says no after 48 hours. Anybody else shell out cash for a blocker that just added another app to ignore?
