My coworker swore the Freedom blocker app would save me 2 hours a day
Been struggling with doomscrolling Twitter during work hours for months so my buddy Dave told me to try Freedom. I set it to block social media from 9-5 and it actually worked, I got way more done. Anyone else find a specific blocker that actually stuck for them?

Oh man, the doomscrolling struggle is real. I was the same way with Reddit and YouTube during my lunch break. I tried Freedom but it kept glitching out on my phone, so I switched to Cold Turkey. I set it to block all time-wasting sites from 8 to 6 and I even added a strict block on the news sites that just make me anxious. It worked way better for me because you can't just open the settings and turn it off when you get the urge. Did you have any trouble with Freedom getting past your phone's permissions?

Yeah the whole "can't just flip a switch and turn it off" thing is key. It's like we've built our whole lives around having every distraction available 24/7 and then wonder why we can't focus.
