He told me last Tuesday that a 30 minute timer on my phone apps does nothing because I just tap "ignore limit" and keep scrolling, and honestly he was right. So now I use a blocker in the morning that locks the apps until noon with a password my wife set, and the phone sits in a kitchen drawer while I work. But part of me wonders if that's too harsh, since I miss texts from my kid's school sometimes. Do you all think hard blocking (password, drawer, the whole thing) beats gentle limits that you can override, or does the strict stuff just make you sneak around it?
