Blew $89 on a site blocker that I could've set up free in 20 minutes
Honestly I feel dumb even typing this. Back in March I paid $89 for a year of this fancy distraction blocking app because the ad made it look like it would fix my whole scrolling problem. It had all these timers and charts and a little dashboard, and I used it for maybe two weeks before I just turned it off when work got busy. The free built-in screen time thing on my phone does the exact same job and I already had it. Ngl what really got me was the report it emails you every Sunday, and it turns out reading a chart about my bad habits didn't make me stop. Curious if anyone here has found a blocker worth paying for, or if the free stuff is really all anyone needs?
